The Zimbabwe African National Union (“ZANU”) is a national liberation movement formed in 1963 to wage the armed liberation struggle that brought about independence for Zimbabwe.
It is a mass movement rooted in the aspirations of Zimbabweans to live in a free and prosperous country. What brings us together is a common belief that Zimbabwe can become a great and powerful African nation.
Aims and Objectives
To build on the foundations set by the forefathers of ZANU and create a Zimbabwe that is united, non-tribal, non-sexist and non-racial and exists in a democratic society – creation of a NEW ZIMBABWE, A GREAT ZIMBABWE!
